Founded in 1941, Young Life is a non-denominational Christian ministry that relies on friendship and close personal relationships to reach out to middle school and high school children. The group reaches out to teens who may otherwise have little interest in religion, providing kids with "fun and safe place where they can be themselves and where they feel like they belong." The group's website explicitly states "Young Life has no political agenda whatsoever. We do not get involved with politics in any way. Our mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith." In order to maintain relationships with young mothers, Young Life features a YoungLives program that "offers teen moms relief from the isolation and struggle of their daily lives and hope for the future."
