The Witherspoon Institute is a research organization based in Princeton, New Jersey. Its mission is to promote the application of fundamental principles of republican government and ordered liberty for contemporary problems.
Through its two education centers, the Witherspoon Institute seeks to defend religious liberty and promote the role of religion in public life that our Nations founders set forth in the text of the Constitution. It also has research programs focused on bioethics and human dignity; business and ethics; ethics, culture, and economic development; family, marriage, and democracy; political thought and constitutional government; and religion and civil society.
