The Jaquelin Hume Foundation was founded in 1962 by its namesake, Jaquelin Hume. Hume was major donor to Ronald Reagan's gubernatorial and presidential campaigns and founded Citizens For America in order to promote Reaganesque views. Likewise, the Jaquelin Hume Foundation funds conservative organizations such as The Goldwater Institute, the libertarian Institute for Justice, and the Cato Institute.
