Describing itself as the nations only libertarian public interest law firm, the Institute for Justice accepts legal cases in the following areas: economic liberty, school choice, property rights, and free speech. The clients represented by IJ are sorely aggrieved by government, and their plights give poignant life to complex legal and philosophical issues that frequently fail on politics rather than succeed on principle. IJ is heavily financed by the libertarian Koch Family Foundations and the Walton Family, of Wal-Mart.
