Mike Pence continued to spread the false statistic that a plan to cap carbon emissions will cost American families $3,100 a year. In fact, an EPA study of the Markey-Waxman bill estimates that it would only cost American households $150 per year.

While debating the fiscal year 2010 budget resolution on April 29, 2009, Rep. Mike Pence exclaimed, "it borrows too much, spends too much, and taxes too much and the American people know it," despite recent polling data to the contrary.  Additionally, Rep.
